Assistant Maintenance-Part-Time ONLY. 8 hours per week split between Saturday and Sunday
HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS NEPHI takes pride in the overall condition and upkeep of our hotel and is seeking energetic, attention to detail individual to join our Maintenance team as a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant.
Can you stay one step ahead of maintenance challenges to make our guests’ safety and comfort your number one priority? We’re searching for a Maintenance Assistant that goes further to make sure his team always puts safety first.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
· Managing daily maintenance needs to ensure the right team is always on the right task
· Carrying out a preventative maintenance programme that creates a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy
· Helping hotel renovations and other projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget
· Maintaining good working relationships with outside contractors
What we need from you
· An attitude of ownership and pride in the hotel
· Above and Beyond Guest Service
· Hotel experience preferred but not necessary, as long as there is a yearning to learn
· Ability to clearly communicate and navigate maintenance app

A Maintenance Assistant is someone who pays attention to details and takes ownership of the hotel. They maintain the overall condition and can troubleshoot/fix routine maintenance issues with very little assistance. The Maintenance Assistant always demonstrates integrity, accountability, responsibility, multitasking and is a team player.
Maintenance duties, but not limited to:
Reference checks, high school diploma, CPO Certified (Preferred), Previous Hotel experience preferred but not necessary
