Job Description

At Flowhub, we're about more than technology — we're on a mission to make legal cannabis accessible to everyone. Founded in 2015, Flowhub pioneered the first Metrc API integration to help dispensaries stay compliant. Today over 1,000 dispensaries trust Flowhub's dispensary growth platform to automate operations, increase revenue, and process $3B+ cannabis sales annually.

To help accelerate our industry leadership and build deeper connections with the cannabis community, we’re looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join our team of cannabis advocates. Reporting to Flowhub’s Vice President of Marketing, you’ll own our end-to-end events strategy and execution, including sponsorships, roadshows, and hosted events.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented planner who thrives on creating unforgettable event experiences. You have a knack for creativity, know how to throw the best parties, and can seamlessly balance logistics, budgets, and stakeholder collaboration. This opportunity will allow you to lead high-impact initiatives that drive revenue, pipeline, and brand awareness. Your work will encompass everything from traditional industry trade show sponsorships to co-branded partner events, virtual webinars, hosted VIP dinners, onsite consumption experiences, and more tailored activations that showcase Flowhub’s unique culture and product offerings.

If you’re ready to create a movement in an exciting, emerging industry and share our passion for cannabis legalization, then come flow with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the marketing calendar of in-person and virtual events to elevate Flowhub’s brand, engage target audiences, and drive measurable ROI.
  • Plan and execute events end-to-end, including event selection, vendor coordination, material sourcing, travel and shipping logistics, content programming, pre-event promotion, detailed on-site execution, and post-event follow-up and analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to align event goals with business objectives.
  • Create and manage an event budget, tracking all expenses and ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Design experiential marketing activations that leave a lasting impression on attendees.
  • Build strong relationships with external vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure event success.
  • Monitor and report on key event performance metrics, including attendance, lead generation, and post-event ROI.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, continuously innovating Flowhub’s event offerings to stand out in a competitive market.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or conference production, ideally in cannabis, B2B SaaS, or tech
  • Proven track record of leading successful in-person and virtual events, from intimate VIP gatherings to large conferences
  • Proficiency with event management platforms (Zoom, Zuddl, Eventbrite, EventHi, etc.) and integrating modern marketing tools into an overall event strategy
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the natural ability to build lasting relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing event budgets and negotiating with vendors, partners, and sponsors
  • Creativity and a flair for designing impactful, memorable event experiences
  • Results-driven, growth mindset
  • Passion for the cannabis industry and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this space
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment

This role is open to anyone within the United States except candidates in CA . Starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, unlimited paid time off, and other benefits.
