About the Role
The SQL Database Testing Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of system testing documentation, test case design and execution, defect reporting, and analysis of warehouse data and workflows to ensure the highest level of end-state data quality and to enhance the value that ATTOM provides to our data customers.
· Create and execute test plans from detailed requirement and design documents
· Create and execute repeatable regression test cases for all data flow processes
· Contribute to design discussions as an advocate for continuous quality improvements
· Report defects and follow through to resolution
· Work with internal teams to understand current processes and areas for efficiency gains
· Collaborate with client-facing teams to provide Tier II support to clients
· Provide data and process expertise in support of requirements development for client-driven data initiatives
· Work with product and development leads to review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
· Oversee activities of the testing team; review test plans and results, coordinate assignments, and provide feedback as needed.
· Train testing resources on new system development and workflow enhancements as is necessary for successful testing
What you need to succeed
· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
· 3+ years of data testing experience
· Strong T-SQL skills
· Ability to read and understand stored procedures and complex queries
· Solid understanding of relational database concepts
· Familiar with SSIS or other ETL tools
· Strong communication skills, written and verbal
· Experience with delegation and coordination of multiple assignments as a team lead
· Change management and task workflow systems (Vault, VSS, JIRA, TFS)
· Prior experience with real estate data is a plus
