Requirements / Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated Software Developer to join our IT team, specializing in video engineering . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a keen interest in video technology , contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our video engineering systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in software development, within the video engineering sectors
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar. Experience with embedded programming of video and streaming technologies is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop innovative solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Experience in managing software development projects, with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering quality results
• Experience with cloud-based video processing and streaming technologies (preferred)
• Knowledge of video compression standards and codecs (preferred)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (preferred)
  
  

Performance Objectives / What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for video engineering projects
• Collaborate with IT and video engineering teams to integrate software solutions with existing systems

• Conduct code reviews and perform testing to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including design specifications and user manuals
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software-related issues in video engineering systems
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices
