This is a hybrid role and you are required to work in onsite a minimum of three days a week.

Position Summary:

The Real Estate Services Manager oversees daily operations within the Real Estate office, ensuring efficient management of personnel and tasks. This role requires expertise in title documentation, including the creation of legal descriptions from deeds and the interpretation of title documents.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management :

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Real Estate Services Team, overseeing daily personnel management, including remote workdays, PTO, and performance development.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker for escalated issues or complex tasks, ensuring efficient and effective resolution.
  • Mentor and coach team members, helping to develop their skills and foster career growth.

Strategic Oversight & Task Delegation :

  • Lead the delegation of critical tasks from Pipedrive to appropriate team members for activities such as lease creation, redline reviews, title ordering, and assessments.
  • Ensure tasks are prioritized and executed efficiently to meet department goals and deadlines.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination :

  • Partner with the People Operations Manager to identify learning and development opportunities for team members, ensuring continuous professional growth.
  • Serve as a liaison for Land Agents and other Land Personnel to address complex inquiries related to lease timing, payment schedules, lease delivery, or invoice-related matters.

Advanced Document Analysis & Research :

  • Oversee and guide the Real Estate Services Associate in researching and analyzing complex property documents (e.g., deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements), ensuring thorough review for ownership confirmation and encumbrance identification. Lead the review of incoming title commitments, identifying and addressing any issues, and provide solutions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Legal Documentation & Relationship Management :

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with internal departments, external legal teams, and legal counsel to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of lease documents. Oversee the periodic review and updating of all lease templates, coordinating with the Real Estate Paralegal and other stakeholders to ensure all documentation is compliant and reflects current legal standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate management or a senior role within the real estate industry.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing large-scale real estate processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of property law, title assessments, and leasing procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in real estate-related software tools and task management systems like Pipedrive.
