Job Description

Position: Sales Engineer
Location: St. Louis, MO (Remote)
Compensation: Base Salary of $80,000 - $100,000 + Unlimited Commission and Bonus Potential (Total Annual Earnings $100,000 - $250,000+)
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

About the Role:

We are seeking a Sales Engineer with a strong technical background and sales experience in industrial, OEM, or manufacturing environments. In this role, you will build and maintain front-line relationships with customers, delivering technical support and guidance on product applications. This remote position is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven sales professional with a passion for industrial automation, robotics, or similar technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales calls, develop client relationships, and offer technical product support
  • Collaborate with Application Engineers to coordinate demos and provide tailored solutions to customer needs
  • Identify and develop applications for products including PLCs, robotics, sensors, motion control, AC drives, and bar code systems

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical sales with a solid engineering or industry-related background
  • Education: Four-year degree preferred; however, equivalent experience and technical proficiency may substitute
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automation products such as PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servo/motion control, robotics, and barcode scanning systems
  • Attributes: Self-starter, effective communicator, and committed professional with a proven track record in technical sales
