Job Description

 

Summary of Position:

 

The Revenue Operations Manager role is a multi-faceted role, blending cross-functional strategic thinking and operational execution. They will be involved in thought leadership, strategic planning, innovation, and will be a key stakeholder and project lead on initiatives not only within the Sales organization, but throughout the business. They will partner with senior leadership to develop strategies that impact organizational design and sales/marketing process planning.

This individual will have the skills to administer, plan, report, and drive process optimization. They will support the sales organization by being a subject matter expert and working cross-functionally to provide insightful reporting, KPI’s, drive tool requirements across the business that support the buyer’s journey, and continuously improve and review the sales operations processes.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Design business processes that enable the organization to collect data which will result in key metrics & KPIs to be provided to different personas of the business.
  • Drive & manage new tool requirements & tool optimization, such as Salesforce.com changes, to develop creative solutions to better meet the growth needs of the sales organization.
  • Design customized reporting and dashboards for the business as requested to help them achieve specific goals.
  • Strategize with key stakeholders across different functions of the business to understand their goals & design/implement corresponding business processes leveraging tools, reports & data analytics to ensure process & reporting alignment as well as tool optimization.
    • Marketing
      • Collaborate and strategize how data should flow from Marketing Systems to CRM, how sales will interact with inbound leads, and report out to the business.
      • Key stakeholder in MI-> MQL-> SQL-> SAL processes (quote to cash).
    • Other Departments - strategize on special initiatives as needed.
  • Learn new software and skills within current software used by the company.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • Business acumen
  • Organizational skills and ability to self-motivate
  • 3-5 years of sales operations/analysis experience; 5-7 years of professional experience
  • Advanced Salesforce experience and experience with connected applications; Salesforce Admin certification desired
  • CRM and database management experience with a strong understanding of sales, sales operations & processes, and sales reporting
  • Advanced Excel (formula writing, pivot tables, charts, 3D maps)
  • Tableau experience required; PowerBI knowledge
  • Data visualization and presentation experience
  • Analytics and reporting expertise
  • Track record of delivering strong results, seeing initiatives through from start to finish, and self-accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-focused mentality and proven ability to work collaboratively & cross-functionally to build alignment around goals and objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate analytical, reasoning, planning & problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, growing organization.
