Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of mortgage professionals, ensuring consistent performance and development.
• Operational Oversight : Oversee loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Pipeline Management : Monitor and manage the loan pipeline, ensuring timely processing and meeting of deadlines.
• Client Service : Provide exceptional service to clients and ensure all team members maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Compliance and Licensing : Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining compliance with mortgage regulations.
• Problem Solving : Address escalations and complex issues in the loan process, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.
• Collaboration : Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to streamline communication and workflow.
• Reporting : Generate regular reports on loan production, operational efficiency, and team performance for upper management.
Qualifications:
• Mortgage License : Preferably holds an active mortgage license (required to be obtained if not currently licensed).
• Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mortgage operations, loan processing, or a related field.
• Leadership Skills : Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Mortgage Processes : Strong understanding of loan origination, underwriting, processing, and closing.
• Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and solve issues proactively.
