Job Description

Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Member Services Representative (MSR) to join our team! In this role, you'll provide excellent service to our members, assisting with inquiries related to dental benefits, eligibility, provider information, claims, and more. Your commitment to providing timely and professional support will help ensure that our members have a positive experience.

Position Details:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a contact center or related administrative healthcare role (e.g., dental/medical office front desk)
Duration: Estimated 3 months, starting January 14th
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (local Texas time). Training will be from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET for the first 4 weeks.
Other Scheduling Notes: Breaks and lunches are scheduled and cannot be customized: 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks before and after the lunch period.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to members by responding to phone, email, and chat inquiries promptly and professionally.
Assist with billing questions, policy updates, and account changes.
Manage and resolve inquiries related to dental benefits, eligibility, provider information, claims, and pre-authorizations.
Thoroughly document all customer interactions in the system.
Escalate complex issues to senior team members or supervisors as needed.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
Handle an average of 80+ calls per day while ensuring high-quality service.
Maintain a quality score of 95% or greater.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: At least 2 years of customer service experience in a call center, with at least 1 year in a healthcare administrative role or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge:

Strong listening skills to ensure accurate and effective communication.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on empathy and problem-solving.
Knowledge of dental terminology and practices is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
