Remote Member Services Representative
(Temporary Role for Open Enrollment)
Position Type: Fully Remote
Schedule:
Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (your local time zone)
Training: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET (first 4 weeks)
Note: Time-off is not permitted through January 31st, as this is a critical period. Absences during this window may result in the end of the assignment. Time-off requests after January 31st will be reviewed based on department needs.
Contract Duration: Estimated 3 months (through the open enrollment period)

We're seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals with a minimum of one year of experience in a contact center or healthcare-related administrative role (e.g., front desk at a dental/medical office). What You'll Do
As a Member Services Representative (MSR), you'll be the first point of contact for members seeking assistance with their dental benefits. Your ability to deliver outstanding customer service and resolve inquiries professionally will play a key role in ensuring member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and manage a high volume of inquiries (80+ calls per day) related to dental benefits, eligibility, claims, pre-estimates/pre-authorizations, provider information, grievances and appeals, and more.
Assist members with billing inquiries, policy changes, and account updates.
Thoroughly document all interactions in the system to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
Maintain a quality score of 95% or higher by providing accurate and efficient support.
Adhere to a structured schedule, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: At least 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment and 1 year of healthcare administrative experience (or related field).
Skills & Knowledge:
Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and practices is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
