Summary:

 

Reporting to the VP, Global Supply Chain, the Manager, Global Supply Chain Data Analytics & Reporting , is responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership to the Global Supply Chain Data, Analytics & Reporting function.

 

The Manager, Global Supply Chain Data Analytics & Reporting role requires in-depth experience with design of relational databases and SQL script, and leads a development team responsible for data mining, acquisition, harmonization and curation, as well as analysis, visualization, and reporting for internal Global Supply Chain business partners in order to have better access to and understanding of business-critical data to support timely and effective business decisions. This leader connects Global Supply Chain strategies with supporting business processes and tools, and also shapes the future of data visualization and reporting within our organization.

 

This role can be based in any Hollister location with Libertyville, IL as the preferred location and requires occasional travel to Hollister Operational or Office Locations. Hollister operates in a hybrid work environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Data/Technical Solutioning

  • Understand applications/systems footprint and data elements needed to support Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting needed.
  • Design/build/utilize relational databases and system integrations to secure needed data.
  • Homogenize, curate, and organize data from different data sources.
  • Manage the analytics platform and support model for large group of users.

 

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead a team of data visualization and reporting specialists, providing guidance and direction to drive excellence in performance and outcomes.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for data visualization and reporting initiatives, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in data visualization and reporting.
  • Drive continuous innovation and improvement.
  • Ensure the support model is aligned to the rapidly expanding BI platform & user base.

 

Data Visualization & Report Development

  • Guide team on building and effective and consistent UI
  • Oversee the design and development of interactive and engaging data visualizations and report using tools such as Power BI.
  • Leverage Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to automate processes and drive efficiency, accuracy, & cost savings.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, including principles of clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate.
  • Drive the development of insightful and actionable reports that provide valuable insights into key business metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Implement robust frameworks and processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of reports/visualizations.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, analysts, and data scientists, to understand information needs.
  • Trusted advisor providing guidance on data visualization and reporting best practices.
  • Champion a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting the value of data visualization and reporting in driving informed decision-making.
  • Develop strategies to effectively communicate technologies needed to drive insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement and governance in the visualization and reporting space.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners.

 

General

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of reporting initiatives, continuously optimizing performance and outcomes.
  • Hire, coach, and develop Analysts for high performance; Assess, assign/realign job duties as needed; Ensure succession plans are in place.
  • Support the development of annual budget plans.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and high engagement working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and/or industry initiatives particularly in the area of Data Security.
  • Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and collaborative approach.
  • Lead Global Supply Chain Data Analytics & Reporting Analysts.

Required experience:

  • 8-12 years overall years’ experience.
  • B.S. / B.A. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 8+ years of overall experience with Relational Databases; Systems Integrations; Data Harmonization, Curation, & Organization; Data Visualization; Platform Management & Support
  • 3+ years of leading data-focused teams
  • Speak/write fluently in English

Preferred experience:

  • Supply Chain Functional and Process Experience (across Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and/or Manufacturing)
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain Systems (Kinaxis-Rapid Response, SAP-IBP); ERP (SAP S/4 HANA) and associated data structures
  • Network Modeling Capabilities (Llamasoft/Supply Chain Guru)

Specialist Skills/Technical knowledge:

  • Operative system “Microsoft Windows” - “MS-Office Professional” Suite
  • PL\SQL Programming
  • Microsoft Azure Platform / Synapse
  • Robotic Process Automation (i.e. UI Path)
  • Extended experience in design of relation databases (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, Synapse, MS Access)
  • Extended experience in design of User Front-End Applications for Manufacturing and Supply Chain - BI & reporting (i.e. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
  • Network Modelling & Inventory Optimization
  • Data mining techniques
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices
