Required & Preferred Experience:

Studio Terrain is actively seeking a Landscape Designer to join our team. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following required and preferred experience criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the Landscape Architecture industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking direction from supervisors while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient hand drafting and hand rendering skills.
  • Capability to interpret and understand existing plan sets.
  • Preferred knowledge of native and ornamental planting specific to the Pacific Northwest region.
  • Expert-level proficiency in using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Land F/X, and Sketchup.
  • Microsoft Office experience is advantageous.
  • A strong passion for creating distinctive, aesthetically pleasing spaces tailored to luxury level clientele.
  • The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually.
  • A genuine passion for learning and continual growth within the landscape architecture industry.
  • An expressed interest in pursuing a Washington State Landscape Architecture license would be advantageous.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience with digital 3D rendering software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in on-site measuring and base map creation is also a plus.
