Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a IT Project Managerr.
In this role, the successful candidate will work as an IT project manager, applying project management expertise in one or more IT disciplines. Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts. Receives general direction, work in progress is reviewed routinely
Job Responsibilities:
* Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address project challenges.
* Uses project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
* Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
* Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
* Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources (people/money) of the work effort being managed.
* Partners with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
* Manages one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Typically requires5 - 7 years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools such as those defined by Project Management Institute (PMI) and included in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). This should include knowledge and use of resource management practices and change management techniques. Must have experience in Healthcare IT
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP is preferred

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $92,066.00 - $110,385.54 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
