Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. Based at our global headquarters in Reading, PA, this position offers the opportunity to work closely with both our external technical sales team and the EnerSys authorized dealer network, ensuring a seamless sales process. Reporting directly to the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing proposals, and submitting orders through Salesforce to our internal customer service team for final processing. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to professionalism, and the ability to excel in a dynamic corporate setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for Motive Power battery and charger product knowledge and answering technical questions pertaining to our products.
• Communicate effectively via telephone, email with customers, and create exceptional rapport.
• Process domestic and international purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of the information provided and initiating appropriate communication to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Provide total support to outside technical sales representatives.
• Attend and participate in periodic sales training where applicable.
• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
• Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Ensure follow-up by passing leads to technical sales representative’s team members with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
• Conduct outbound sales efforts, including calls and emails to current and prospective clients, with a focus on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
• Other duties may be assigned later.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 5 years of sales experience.
• A vast knowledge of all EnerSys Motive Power products.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, Salesforce or similar CRM.
• OEM Specs and EnSite software
