Your Key Responsibilities

• Creation and management of prototype manufacturing process plans

• Define tooling needs and procure for all existing and new prototype projects

• Define equipment needs and procure for future prototype projects

• Support all phases of development and manufacturing of prototypes to ensure part quality and process capability is met

• Coordinate with production and product development departments for proposed prototype product design and/or processing changes and improvements

• Document prototype manufacturing and development summaries, process flow diagrams and improvements in technical report form

• Drive process improvements within the prototype department and implement accompanying work instructions, process flow diagrams or procedural documents

• Coordinate and follow through corrective action plans related to scrap reduction and customer complaint resolutions from beginning to end

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering related field

• 3 to 5 years of experience

• Manufacturing process knowledge

• Ability to interpret print dimensions, specifications and GD&T

• Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results
