Job Description



As an Executive Protective Services professional, you will join a diverse and dynamic team that provides protection for our senior executives, Board of Directors, and other designated protectees. You will use your skills and experience in personal and physical security strategy to plan and execute security operations, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with law enforcement and other security agencies. You will ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and report to the Senior Director, Head of Executive and Event Services. Major Responsibilities

  • Provide close protection to designated executives, ensuring their safety both domestic and international, sometimes in high-risk environments.
  • Collaborate with our Intelligence Team in preparing risk assessments and threat analysis; develop custom mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate threat levels and adapt security strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate and implement detailed executive travel plans, including secure transportation arrangements, and accommodations. Conduct advance site surveys and ensure secure environments at all destinations; includes route selections, vehicle security, venue security, emergency evacuation, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive security plans, protocols, and procedures for executives. Continuously assess the effectiveness of security measures and suggest improvements, as necessary.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious or hostile activities and respond to any incidents or emergencies.
  • Act swiftly and decisively during emergency situations, such as medical incidents, accidents, or security breaches. Provide immediate first aid, emergency medical assistance, or evacuation to designated facilities, if necessary.
  • Liaise and coordinate with law enforcement and other security agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding client information and security operations.
  • Keep up to date with security trends, best practices, and technologies.

Qualifications

  • You have knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and basic first aid.
  • You have knowledge of advance security protocols to include site surveys, route planning, and reconnaissance.
  • You have proficiency in providing close protection to executives or other at-risk individuals in a multitude of operating environments.
  • You can formulate security plans based on information provided from internal and external stakeholders.
  • You can adapt to changing priorities, inputs, or operating conditions.
  • You understand the value of working reciprocally across multiple constituents, lines of business, and functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive collaborative working relationships across our organization and communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of constituents.
  • You have exceptional oral and written communication skills and can prepare clear, comprehensive, and significant reports.
  • You have strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate risks and mitigate them.
  • You have experience managing budgets, personnel, and resources.
  • You can handle pressure and challenges with professionalism, courtesy, and resilience.
  • You can maintain extreme confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • You have the ability and flexibility to travel as needed (both scheduled as well as for unplanned critical incident management); and a willingness to work flexible “off hours.”
  • You have a confirmed knowledge and proficiency with various computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point) and the ability to learn bespoke applications.

Experience Needed

  • You have 10+ years of experience in executive protection or a related field; diverse law enforcement or corporate security experience preferred.
  • Qualification under HR 218 preferred but not required.

Educational Background Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. Advanced degree is desirable.
