Job Description

Position: Data Entry Clerk (Short-Term Contract to Full-Time Opportunity)

We are excited to offer a great opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk to join a dynamic team in Prairieville, Louisiana. This position starts as a short-term contract with the potential to transition into a full-time role. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining and updating our customer database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in delivering excellent customer service. This is an on-site role, and remote work is not an option.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process customer credit applications to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain customer records.
Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for organizing files, performing calculations, and completing various administrative tasks.
Address customer inquiries via email and phone, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when needed to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Utilize 10-key skills to input numerical data quickly and accurately into the system.
Maintain an organized file system to ensure information is easily accessible and retrievable.
Contribute to document digitization efforts by scanning physical documents into the system.
Leverage strong typing skills to perform data entry with speed and accuracy.
Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
Qualifications:

Proficiency in 10-key data entry.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Solid experience in data entry with a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with email correspondence and customer communication.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience in organizing files and ensuring efficient document management.
Ability to perform calculations accurately.
Experience with scanning and digitizing documents.
Quick and accurate typing skills, ensuring fast and precise data entry.
