Priority Urgent Care is a rapidly expanding multi-facility urgent care provider in Bakersfield, California, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Practice Manager. As the Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our clinic while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Position: Clinical Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Manage and supervise the daily operations of the urgent care center, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to organizational policies.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and lead a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Financial Management: Collaborate with the billing department to implement effective revenue management policies and procedures. Monitor billing and collection processes for optimal financial performance.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to uphold the highest standards of patient care. Monitor and improve operational efficiency and performance metrics.
• Patient Experience: Foster a patient-centered approach, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for patients. Address patient concerns and feedback to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with medical staff, administrative teams, and other departments to streamline communication and ensure coordinated patient care.
• Communication with Upper Management: Provide regular updates and reports to upper management on clinic operations, challenges, and achievements. Collaborate with executives to align clinic goals with overall organizational objectives.

Work Schedule:

• The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekdays, assigned evenings, and some weekends.
• Rotating paid holidays and on-call shifts may be part of the schedule.

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certificate is a plus.
• Proven experience in a healthcare leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including effective communication with upper management.
• Ability to make sound decisions independently and solve complex problems.
• Proficient in the use of healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation:

The starting salary is $26 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
