Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager Perioperative

Location: Newark, Delaware

Shift: Days, Monday - Friday

Salary: $99,000 - $138,000 annually

Overview:

Seeking a seasoned Assistant Nurse Manager with OR experience and CNOR certification to lead clinical and operational practices in our state-of-the-art facility. This leadership role is pivotal in supporting our ANCC Magnet designated unit and driving excellence in patient care and staff development within the surgical services department.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical and administrative operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation.
• Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting professional development and adherence to the highest healthcare standards.
• Manage staffing and patient scheduling to optimize care delivery and department efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
• Participate in budget preparation and manage departmental expenditures.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Masters degree in a related field preferred or enrollment to be completed within 5 years.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical and leadership experience in an OR setting.
• Required certifications: CNOR; must have current nursing licensure in Delaware or a compact state. BLS certification required.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively with staff and management.
