Job Description: Art Director

Vicarious , an innovative staffing agency for creative professionals, is currently recruiting an experienced Art Director for an esteemed agency in the Seattle area. This role is perfect for someone passionate about visual storytelling, with proven expertise in videography, cinematography, and video editing. As Art Director, you will lead creative initiatives, transforming ambitious ideas into impactful visual narratives for diverse media campaigns.

Location: Seattle-area (remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically direct and oversee the creative vision for a variety of media campaigns.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of video production, including pre-production planning, on-site shooting, and post-production editing.
• Ensure the creation of high-quality video content that meets the strategic goals of the agency’s clients.
• Supervise photoshoots and other visual media productions to guarantee top-quality outputs that align with client specifications.
• Develop storyboards and convert abstract concepts into visual narratives.
• Incorporate new and advanced techniques in videography, cinematography, and editing to enhance creative projects.
• Conduct meetings with clients and the team to discuss creative direction and progress on projects.
• Efficiently manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Film Studies, or a related field.
• Significant experience in videography, cinematography, and video editing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your creative abilities.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
• A keen creative eye for design, composition, and detail.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities, able to inspire teamwork and communicate effectively across various groups.
• Robust organizational and project management skills, capable of juggling multiple timelines and complex projects.
